Children will love creating a cosy home away from home or holiday accommodation for bugs with our Bug Hotel. Its designed to attract bees, butterflies, and a variety of other creepy crawlies. While our photos show a completed bug hotel, furnishings are not included. We believe the best part is letting children get involved in creating living quarters for insects and other critters. They can use bricks, twigs, pipes, or any natural materials they find, like pine cones and dried leaves in autumn. Ideally, the Bug Hotel should be placed in a sheltered, sunny, south-facing spot near vegetation in your garden area or forest classroom. Encourage children to regularly check on their bug hotel to see who has moved in. Its a great way to teach them about nature and which habitats are best for different creatures.
